got a cylinder with a 2 inch rod, is this the right wiper ring size or am i mixin things up

The 2 ID on this wiper ring is the inside diameter, so it matches a 2 inch rod size. It is meant to wipe the rod clean as it cycles so grit and moisture stay out of the cylinder.
