Description & Features

Designed for mobile hydraulic applications, this Eaton Vickers Medium Duty Mobile Piston Pump delivers a displacement of 4.21 cu in/rev with a rated flow of 32.8 GPM at up to 2500 RPM. The pressure compensated load sense control includes a 3000 PSI compensator setting (adjustable) and a 200 PSI load sense bias (non-adjustable), making it well suited for systems requiring precise flow and pressure management.

The pump mounts via a 2-4-Bolt SAE C flange and is fitted with a 14T SAE C splined shaft. Port configuration includes a 2-inch Code 61 flange inlet, 1-inch Code 61 flange outlet, and an SAE-10 case drain, all side-ported. Counter-clockwise rotation is standard for this configuration. The compact, lightweight aluminum housing supports tandem capability, and multiple shaft options are available within the 70523 Series. Recommended hydraulic fluid cleanliness is ISO 4406 Level 18/13 or cleaner.

pump says counter clockwise rotation -- does that mean it won't work if my system drives clockwise off the PTO?

Counter clockwise is the correct rotation for this pump, so yes, the drive direction has to match. Running it backwards won't build pressure the right way and can cause internal damage pretty quick. Before you bolt it up, confirm which way your PTO or drive shaft turns when viewed from the shaft end of the pump. If your setup runs clockwise, you'd need a different pump spec'd for CW rotation. This one is strictly CCW.

Will this pump work on my log splitter? I need a counter clockwise rotation.
