Question by: Harvey J on Jan 29, 2026, 2:05 PM
got a port that’s M22 x 1.5 but the part i need to screw in is M14 x 1.5. is this bushing the right way to step it down?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 30, 2026, 7:51 PM
Built for that exact thread change, it has a male M22 x 1.5 on one end and a female M14 x 1.5 on the other, so it adapts an M22 x 1.5 port down to accept an M14 x 1.5 fitting.

Made from steel, this metric port bushing is plenty durable for hydraulic applications on farm equipment.

Got a port on my hydraulic manifold that's M14 female and the line fitting I need to run is M22 male. This bushing work for that setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 11, 2025, 9:18 PM
Backwards from what you'd expect, but yes, that's exactly the situation this bushing handles. The M22 x 1.5 male end threads into your larger port, and the M14 x 1.5 female end on the other side accepts your smaller male fitting. Steel construction keeps it solid under the kind of pressure cycles you'd see in a working hydraulic system, and the straight profile means no awkward angles to deal with during installation.
