Question by: Terry R on Feb 1, 2026, 5:05 PM
flow rating on this thing is 10 GPM -- is that enough to handle a standard hydraulic reservoir setup on a mid-size piece of equipment, or would it bog down trying to keep up?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 3, 2026, 4:09 PM
For most mid-size hydraulic systems, 10 GPM is plenty for a kidney loop or offline filtration setup. You're not running this inline under full pump demand -- it works alongside your system, pulling fluid through at its own pace and returning it cleaned. That approach works well for maintaining fluid cleanliness on equipment that runs regular shifts. Just keep in mind the max operating pressure is 30 PSI, so this isn't meant for high-pressure line filtration. Stick to offline or recirculating use and 10 GPM will serve you just fine.

i’ve got a hydraulic tank that’s been sitting a while. is this cart basically for cleaning petroleum based hydraulic oil before i put it back in service
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 20, 2025, 6:30 AM
For cleaning up petroleum based hydraulic fluid, this mobile filtration system is a good fit. It is built around H10 and H05 Excellement Z-Media elements and is meant to filter petroleum based hydraulic oil as you circulate it through the cart.
Question by: Billy W on Feb 28, 2026, 8:20 PM
Will this mobile filtration system work with any kind of hydraulic fluid?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 2, 2026, 3:30 PM
It's designed for petroleum-based hydraulic fluids. You'd need to check with the factory if you're planning to use it with anything else.
