Designed to meet the dimensional requirements of Mil-C-4109 for industrial interchangeability, the 1000/400/500 Series MIL-C-4109 Industrial Interchange Air Quick Disconnect, Male Half, -04 Coupling, 1/4-18 Male NPT from Dixon Valve & Coupling is a steel male plug built for reliable, single-hand push-to-connect air line use. The automatic sleeve engages with a simple push, while a protective collar reduces the risk of accidental snagging or disconnection during operation.

A 360° swivel eliminates hose kinking, and the pin latching mechanism provides secure engagement. Standard seal material is Buna-N. The -04 coupling size connects via 1/4-18 male NPT thread. This fitting is compatible with Aeroquip FD40 Series counterparts, making it well-suited for pneumatic tool and industrial air system applications where interchange with common standards is required. Maximum operating pressure varies by model series, Dixon models are rated to 300 PSI.

got an Aeroquip FD40 coupler on my air hose, will this Dixon male plug snap right in?
