Danfoss / Eaton HPU Accessory

Description & Features

Description & Features

The Danfoss / Eaton HPU Accessory by Eaton Filtration LLC offers exceptional features for efficient fluid management. This accessory uses proprietary media that effectively reduces dew point temperature and blocks particles of 10 microns and larger with 99.7% efficiency. The media reverses its flow allowing moisture to exit the reservoir ensuring internal air remains dry and preventing condensation.

The robust housing protects the media from external splashes while the lightweight design ensures easy installation requiring only hand-tightening. The Mobile-gate Vent Breather regenerates its water-holding capacity in each cycle enhancing its efficiency. During phase changes it blocks water vapor from entering letting moisture exit the reservoir.

The accessory maintains low relative humidity inside the reservoir achieving a lower dew point temperature than the ambient surroundings thus preventing condensation. The Mobile-gate Vent Breather operates effectively even when the system is shut down providing constant protection against condensation. These unique features make it an essential component for fluid management in industrial environments. ++

Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Tony M on Mar 1, 2026, 7:22 AM
how does this breather keep moisture from building up inside the reservoir when the machine ain't even running?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 2, 2026, 12:29 PM
Even after the system shuts down and cools off overnight, the Mobile-gate media slows the vapor equilibrium process enough that the dew point inside the reservoir climbs very slowly. By the time the reservoir surfaces have dropped to ambient temperature, the internal dew point is still lower than the surrounding air temperature, which means condensation doesn't get a chance to form. Most breathers stop working the moment the system goes idle, but this one keeps doing its job through the whole cool-down cycle.
