Mobilube HD Gear Lubricant, 5 gal Bucket, SAE Grade, Viscosity Index

This high-performance Mobilube HD Gear Lubricant is formulated for optimal use in enclosed automotive gear cases, manual or semiautomatic transmissions, drive axles, and final drives. It is ideal for passenger cars, trucks, taxicabs, as well as contractor and farm equipment. With a viscosity index suitable for SAE Grade 85W-140, this lubricant meets U.S. Military Specification MIL-PRF-2105E and is fully approved against Mack Truck specifications GO-H and GO-J. It is recommended for API GL-5 service, especially effective under high-speed shock load, high-speed low torque, and low-speed high torque conditions.

The Mobilube HD Gear Lubricant is packaged in a convenient 5-gallon bucket. It is suitable for use at bulk oil temperatures up to 300°F with appropriate drain and refill schedules, though it is not recommended for steady operation above 260°F. Please note that this lubricant is not suitable for transmissions requiring engine oil or automatic transmission fluid, nor should it be used when an API GL-4 gear oil is specified.
