The Eaton Socketless hose from Danfoss is designed for industrial applications requiring high flexibility and durable performance. Engineered for pneumatic tools on production lines it efficiently conveys air water oils and low-pressure hydraulics. With a black neoprene cover and RMA Class A vinyl nitrile tube it offers excellent oil resistance.
It features a 0.75-inch internal diameter and withstands a maximum operating pressure of 250 PSI. The hoses construction includes one-braid textile reinforcement making it robust for demanding tasks. It supports a temperature range from -40F to 160F for air up to 185F for water and up to 260F for fuel and lubrication oil.
For versatile fitting attachment options it is compatible with pinch clamps preformed clamps and bolt clamps. The product is also suitable with SOCKETLESS fittings eliminating the need for clamps. Its available in a 250-foot reel with a minimum bend radius of 7 inches and vacuum service up to 28 inches Hg.

Can I use regular hose clamps on this, or do I need something special?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 24, 2025, 7:12 PM
For best results, use SOCKETLESS™ fittings which don't require a clamp. If you're going with shank or universal type fittings, pinch clamps, preformed clamps, or bolt clamps will do the job.
Question by: Lynn J on Mar 22, 2026, 8:10 PM
Running pneumatic tools on an assembly line and need something that can handle oils and lubricated air without breaking down on me. This hose gonna hold up to that kind of use?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 24, 2026, 1:22 PM
For that kind of setup, the vinyl nitrile tube construction handles oil contact well, and the hose is specifically listed for conveying lubricated air to valves and cylinders. It holds up to 250 PSI, which covers most pneumatic tool applications on a production line. The black cover is neoprene rated MSHA 2G-13, so it's got some durability to it. Just keep in mind this hose is not rated for impulse applications, so if your system cycles pressure rapidly and repeatedly, you'd want to look at something built for that.

got a 3/4 air line on a reel, is this hose actually 3/4 id and how tight can it bend without kinkin
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 24, 2026, 6:34 AM
The inside diameter is 0.75 inch and the outside diameter is 1.0625 inch. Minimum bend radius is 7 inches, so try to keep your turns at or above that to avoid stressing the hose.

got a 3/4 inch air line on a machine, what pressure is this hose good for?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 3, 2025, 3:25 PM
For limits, this hose is rated up to 250 PSI maximum operating pressure. It also supports vacuum service up to 28 inches Hg.
Question by: Judy H on Feb 14, 2026, 5:02 PM
Will this hose hold up okay if I'm running air tools all day long in my shop?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 15, 2026, 8:15 PM
This Eaton Socketless hose is designed for industrial applications, so it should be durable enough for running pneumatic tools on a production line or in a shop setting, where it efficiently conveys air, water, oils, and low-pressure hydraulics.
Question by: Stan A on Oct 10, 2025, 8:32 AM
Running pneumatic tools on a production line and need something that won't crack up in the cold. This hose rated for low temps?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 11, 2025, 8:24 PM
Rated down to -40 degrees F, so cold shop environments or unheated facilities won't be a problem for it. The black neoprene cover holds up well against the kind of temperature swings you get in industrial settings, and the vinyl nitrile tube gives it solid resistance to oils that might be present in a production line environment. Max operating pressure runs up to 250 PSI, which covers most pneumatic tool applications without issue.
