Nylon Tubing, 0.25 OD, 0.04 Thick, 0.18 ID, Up To 290.00 PSI

Description & Features

Freelin-Wade's black nylon tubing provides a versatile solution for diverse applications including pneumatics hydraulics vacuum systems and exposure to general chemicals. With a burst pressure of 1160 PSI and a maximum operating pressure of 290 PSI it offers reliable performance under demanding conditions.

This tubing features a 0.25" outer diameter and a 0.035" wall thickness giving it a flexible and lightweight advantage. The minimum bend radius of 1" ensures adaptability in tight spaces. Moreover the product meets UL94HB testing requirements ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Thanks to its temperature range of -60deg;F to 200deg;F and resistance to stress-cracking this tubing is suitable for a variety of environments including exposure to heat and UV light. Additionally its chemical and corrosion resistance provides durability where moisture and chemicals are present.

This nylon tubing exhibits consistent performance due to its low moisture absorption and UV stabilization. Its hardness rating stands at 78 Rockwell R making it a robust choice for industrial applications.

Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Kent M on Mar 30, 2025, 3:34 PM
this tubing rated for hydraulic use, or is it really just a pneumatics thing?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 1, 2025, 8:56 AM
Hydraulic use is actually listed right alongside pneumatics, vacuum, lubricants, oils, and general chemicals as supported applications. Rated to 290 PSI operating pressure with a burst rating of 1160 PSI, it holds up fine for plenty of hydraulic setups. The 1/4 inch OD with a 0.18 inch ID keeps flow moving, and the nylon construction handles both moisture and chemical exposure without breaking down. Just make sure your system stays within that 290 PSI ceiling and you're good to go.
Question by: Lance G on Jun 22, 2025, 10:05 AM
What’s the highest pressure this tubing can handle without bursting?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 23, 2025, 7:57 PM
With a burst pressure of 1160 PSI, this nylon tubing should hold up well under pressure.
