Nylon Tubing, 0.31 OD, 0.04 Thick, 0.23 ID, Up To 240.00 PSI

Description & Features

The Freelin-Wade Nylon Tubing is designed for versatility across a diverse range of applications including pneumatics hydraulics and vacuum systems. This natural-colored nylon tubing with an outer diameter of 0.31 inches and a wall thickness of 0.04 inches provides excellent flexibility and a smaller bend radius. It maintains corrosion resistance due to low moisture absorption and adds durability through its high-temperature tolerance operating efficiently between -60deg;F to 200deg;F.

With a burst pressure rating of 960 PSI and a maximum operating pressure of 240 PSI this tubing assures reliable performance under rigorous conditions. The minimum bend radius of 1.5 inches makes it adaptable in confined spaces. Engineered to meet UL94HB testing requirements it also offers chemical resistance making it suitable for areas exposed to lubricants oils and general chemicals.

The heat and UV stabilization ensure long-term reliability by reducing stress-cracking making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor usage. With a vacuum rating up to 28"Hg and a hardness level of 78 Rockwell R this tubing is built to meet industrial standards.

Product Questions & Answers (3)

Question by: Neal L on Apr 20, 2025, 3:30 PM
What kind of stuff is this tubing good for resistin', like chemicals and whatnot?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 22, 2025, 7:04 AM
This nylon tubing shows good resistance to corrosion because it doesn't soak up moisture easily. It also handles chemicals, lubricants, and oils pretty well, so it's a solid pick for those environments.
Question by: Debbie P on Jun 24, 2025, 7:46 PM
trying to run a tight loop in a cabinet, how sharp can i bend this 5/16 nylon tube without kinkin it
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 26, 2025, 7:42 AM
For tight routing, the minimum bend radius on this tubing is 1.5 inches. Staying at or above that bend radius helps it keep its shape and flow without collapsing.
Question by: Lance M on Feb 22, 2026, 6:15 AM
tubing rated for hydraulic use or just pneumatics? trying to figure out if 240 psi is gonna cut it for what we got running
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 24, 2026, 6:19 AM
Hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum systems all fall within the rated applications for this tubing. The maximum operating pressure is 240 PSI, with a burst pressure of 960 PSI. Whether that working pressure fits your system depends on what you're running, but those are the confirmed ratings for this product.
