Nylon Tubing, 0.50 OD, 0.06 Thick, 0.38 ID, Up To 240.00 PSI

Description & Features

Freelin-Wade's natural nylon tubing offers an optimal solution for pneumatic hydraulic and vacuum applications. Engineered to accommodate up to 240 PSI this tubing features a 0.5 inch outer diameter 0.06 inch wall thickness and a 0.375 inch inner diameter. Its robust design ensures durability under extreme temperatures ranging from -60deg;F to 200deg;F making it versatile for diverse industrial uses.

With a burst pressure of 960 PSI and a minimum bend radius of 2.25 inches this tubing provides excellent flexibility. The resin compliance meets UL94HB Testing Requirements ensuring adherence to safety standards. The tubing's resistance to moisture absorption and chemicals further enhances its reliability in various environments from machine tools to coolant and fuel systems.

The nylon tubingrsquo;s heat and UV stabilization prevent stress-cracking making it ideal for outdoor exposure. Its hardness rating of 78 Rockwell R ensures a sturdy performance while maintaining a lightweight structure for ease of installation. The vacuum rating extends up to 28"Hg making it suitable for high-demand tasks.

Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Joyce M on Oct 22, 2025, 5:33 PM
tubing says it goes up to 240 PSI but whats the burst pressure on it? trying to figure out how much headroom we actually got before something lets go
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 24, 2025, 6:45 AM
Burst pressure on this tubing is rated at 960 PSI, which gives you a 4-to-1 safety margin over the 240 PSI working pressure. That kind of headroom is pretty standard for well-built pneumatic and hydraulic tubing and means you've got solid cushion if pressure spikes happen in your system.
Question by: Howard H on May 2, 2025, 4:29 PM
trying to snake this line around a tight spot, how sharp can i bend it without kinking it
Answer by: Customer Support on May 4, 2025, 9:02 AM
For routing around corners, the minimum bend radius is 2.25 inches. Staying at or above that bend radius is the safe way to keep it from kinking and to maintain flow through the 0.375 inch ID.
