The DANFOSS (IGS) Oilfield Vacuum Hose is designed with a 1.78 inch outer diameter and a 1.50 inch inner diameter capable of handling up to 150 PSI. This black industrial hose is constructed with a nitrile blend tube and corrugated SBR blend cover reinforced by high-tensile synthetic textiles and dual steel helical wires for durability and performance in demanding conditions.

Ideally suited for the transfer of drilling mud and crude oil in various oilfield applications this hose is not recommended for refined petroleum products. With a minimum bend radius of 4.53 inches and a reel quantity of 100 feet it offers flexibility and efficiency in usage. The hose performs reliably in a temperature range from -22F to +176F and supports vacuum services up to 28 inches Hg.

Fittings such as cam and groove male NPT and unions are recommended for optimal use. The crimp swage band & buckle and Band-It Jr preformed clamps provide secure fitting attachments.

been using a similar hose for drilling mud transfer and the old one finally gave out. this one rated for that kind of service or is it more of a general purpose deal?

Drilling mud transfer is exactly what this hose is built around. The nitrile blend tube and dual steel helical wire reinforcement hold up to the kind of abrasive, heavy slurry conditions you run into on a wellsite. It handles up to 150 PSI and pulls vacuum to 28 inches Hg, so it covers both pressure and suction sides of the job. One thing worth knowing upfront: it is not rated for refined petroleum products, so keep it to crude oil and drilling mud applications and you will be in good shape.

What kind of fittings would y'all recommend for this hose?

Cam and groove, male NPT, and unions are the recommended fittings to use with this hose. For secure connections, crimp swage band & buckle and Band-It Jr preformed clamps are good options.

trying to replace a worn out vacuum line, are the sizes on this hose 1.50 inside and 1.78 outside?

This hose is sized at 1.50 inch ID and 1.78 inch OD, with a minimum bend radius of 4.53 inches. It is also sold in a 100 foot reel, so you have room to cut what you need.
