Rated to 10,000 psi (700 bar), the Single Speed, Lightweight Hydraulic Hand Pump, 55 in³ Usable Oil is a compact, single-speed unit from Enerpac's P Series, suited to a broad range of industrial hydraulic applications. The glass-filled nylon reservoir and nylon-encapsulated aluminum pump base keep weight to 9 lbs (4.1 kg) while providing strong resistance to corrosion.

need a hand pump thatll run up to 10,000 psi. is the P391 actually rated for that or is that just best case

Rated capacity on the P391 is 10,000 psi (700 bar). It also has an internal pressure relief valve built in for overload protection.

At 9 pounds, how far does that actually get you with a 55 cubic inch reservoir, enough oil to run a decent-sized cylinder through a full stroke?

For most single-acting cylinders in the light-to-mid range, 55 cubic inches of usable oil is plenty for a full working stroke. Where it starts to matter is if you're chaining multiple cylinders together or running something with a longer bore and stroke. The 9-pound weight makes it easy to haul around a job site, but the reservoir capacity is the real limiting factor when you start hooking up bigger tools. Single-speed operation keeps things straightforward, and the 10,000 psi rating means you're not giving up pressure just because the pump is light.
