Enerpac | Two Speed, Lightweight Hydraulic Hand Pump, 55 in3 Usable Oil | P392

Description & Features

Rated to 10,000 psi (700 bar), the Two Speed, Lightweight Hydraulic Hand Pump, 55 in³ Usable Oil from Enerpac combines a glass-filled nylon reservoir with a nylon-encapsulated aluminum pump base for strong, corrosion-resistant construction at a weight of just 9 lbs (4.1 kg). The two-speed design delivers high flow in the initial stroke range to advance tools quickly to the point of load contact, then automatically shifts to low-flow, high-pressure output, reducing handle strokes by up to 78% compared to single-speed models.

With a 55 in³ (901 cm³) reservoir capacity, this pump is well suited for powering single-acting cylinders and tools across a range of industrial applications. A non-conductive fiberglass handle supports operator safety, while the integrated pressure relief valve provides overload protection. The handle lock and compact form factor make it straightforward to carry between work sites.

Two-speed on a hand pump, how much does that actually cut down on the pumping before it gets to load?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 9, 2026, 9:43 PM
Quite a bit, honestly. The two-stage setup on this pump delivers high flow first, which moves the cylinder or tool up to the workpiece fast without a lot of handle strokes. Once it hits resistance, the pump automatically shifts to the high-pressure, low-flow stage to build force. Enerpac rates the stroke reduction at up to 78% compared to a single-speed pump, so your operator isn't standing there working the handle forever just to close the gap before the real work starts.

got a cylinder that needs 10,000 psi sometimes. will this little hand pump keep up or am i pushing it too hard
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 29, 2025, 7:12 AM
Rated capacity on this pump is 10,000 psi (700 bar), and it has an internal pressure relief valve for overload protection. So running up to 10,000 psi is within what it is built for, not beyond it.
