Rated for up to 10,000 PSI, the P Series Single-Speed Single-Acting Hand Pump from Hydraulic Tech USA is designed for use with single-acting cylinders in applications where minimal free travel is required. All-metal construction makes it suitable for demanding environments, including welding settings where plastic components would be a liability.

The formed metal handle reduces operator fatigue during extended use, while a large valve knob allows controlled, gradual load descent. A relief valve positioned inboard of the check valve prevents loads from drifting down unintentionally. The fill cap seal doubles as a safety valve to guard against reservoir over-pressurization. Handle effort is rated at 75 lb, and standard hydraulic fluid is included.

got a single-acting cylinder with hardly any free travel, is this P12 the kind of hand pump that makes sense for that?

For short-stroke work where you do not have much free travel to take up, the P Series single-speed single-acting hand pump is a good match. It is intended for use with single-acting cylinders and is described as best suited for applications with little or no free travel.
