Best suited for applications where free travel is minimal or absent, this two-speed hand pump from SPX Hydraulic Technologies delivers a low-pressure range up to 325 PSI and a high-pressure range up to 10,000 PSI, making it well-suited for demanding single and double acting cylinder work.

The P Series Two-Speed Single/Double Acting Hand Pump is built with rugged all-metal construction and a heavy-duty formed metal handle designed to reduce flex and operator fatigue during extended use. A fill cap seal doubles as a safety valve to prevent reservoir over-pressurization, while the relief valve, positioned inboard of the check valve, keeps loads from drifting. The large valve knob allows precise, controlled load metering. Standard hydraulic fluid is included.

pump says it works with double acting cylinders, does that mean it won't run a single acting setup or is it fine either way?

Both cylinder types are covered with this one. The P159D is rated for single and double acting cylinder work, so you're not locked into one configuration. The two-speed operation gives you a low-pressure range up to 325 PSI for fast travel and kicks up to 10,000 PSI when you need the force, which holds up well across both cylinder styles.
