Enerpac | Two Speed, ULTIMA Steel Hydraulic Hand Pump, 250 in3 Usable Oil | P801

Description & Features

Rated to 10,000 psi (700 bar), this two-speed steel hand pump is built for demanding hydraulic applications where both speed and pressure matter. The two-stage design automatically shifts from high-flow to high-pressure output, reducing handle strokes significantly compared to single-speed alternatives, making it well suited for advancing cylinders to load contact before switching to full-pressure work.

The Enerpac P801, part of the Ultima Steel Hand Pump series, features all-steel construction with a chrome-plated plunger and wiper system for durability in field use. A 250 in³ (4,100 cm³) reservoir supports multi-cylinder setups, while the vent-free reservoir design prevents spills during transport. An ergonomic quick-grip handle and integral over-pressurization protection round out the design. At 31 lbs (14.1 kg), it balances capacity with portability for use across industrial maintenance, lifting, and pressing applications.

Question by: Ross W on Jul 15, 2025, 12:35 PM
Trying to speed things up, does this hand pump shift on its own from fast advance to high pressure?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 16, 2025, 7:53 PM
For moving a cylinder out to the work quick and then building pressure, the two stage setup is made to do exactly that. It runs high flow in the first stage, then automatically switches to the second stage for low flow at high pressure up to 10,000 psi.
Question by: Wade R on Dec 24, 2025, 11:17 AM
How much oil does this pump hold, and is 250 cubic inches gonna be enough to run more than one cylinder at a time?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 25, 2025, 7:16 PM
At 250 in3 of usable oil, you've got a solid capacity for multi-cylinder setups. The P801 is built to handle multiple cylinder hook-ups, so running more than one isn't outside what it's rated for. Whether that capacity fits your exact setup depends on the combined displacement of the cylinders you're using, but 250 cubic inches gives you meaningful working volume to operate with.
