Designed for demanding conditions, the Badger Meter Petroleum Fluid Flow Meter is an essential tool in hydraulic systems. Capable of handling pressures up to 3500 PSI, it operates efficiently within a flow range of 1 to 15 GPM.

Constructed from durable anodized aluminum, this flow meter offers superior build quality, featuring a stainless steel spider plate, spring, and fasteners. The polycarbonate guard adds an extra layer of protection, making it highly resilient.

It features 1/2-14 NPT ports and accommodates temperatures from -20deg;F to 240deg;F. The tool is visually indicative of flow rate, easy to read, and can be installed in any position. For added convenience, the outer housing is rotatable 360deg;.

The unit showcases high accuracy with plusmn;2% full scale and repeatability of plusmn;1%. Although designed for a single direction flow, a reverse flow option is available for tailored requirements.

Will this meter hold up if it's constantly running in a hydraulic system?

Is this flow meter okay to mount sideways, or does it need to be vertical?

You can mount this flow meter in any position. The outer housing also rotates 360 degrees to make it easy to read no matter how it's installed.

got a 1/2 npt line on a hydraulic power unit, is this meter gonna thread right in and which way does the oil need to flow

It uses 1/2-14 NPT ports so it matches standard 1/2 NPT hydraulic lines. Flow direction matters on the standard model since it measures in one direction only, and standard models do not tolerate reverse flow.
