Product Questions & Answers (3)

Question by: Floyd L on Jan 30, 2026, 5:44 PM
running this on a fuel transfer setup, pulling from a storage tank, will it hold up to the vacuum side without collapsing on me?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 1, 2026, 12:40 PM
Built with a single steel helical wire running through the wall, this hose is rated for vacuum service up to 28 inches Hg. That's solid pull capacity for tank suction work, and the wire reinforcement keeps the walls from collapsing under negative pressure. As long as you're moving petroleum-based product and your system stays within that range, you're in good shape on the suction side.
Question by: Randy L on Dec 29, 2025, 9:24 AM
Will this hose hold up if it's run all day long?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 30, 2025, 4:09 PM
This hose is built with a nitrile blend tube and cover, plus high-tensile synthetic textile reinforcement, making it durable enough for continuous suction and discharge of petroleum products within its pressure and temperature limits.
Question by: Hank C on Jan 11, 2026, 6:18 PM
got a 2.5 inch line, how tight can i bend this hose without kinking it
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 12, 2026, 7:27 PM
For routing and install, the minimum bend radius is 12.2 inches. Staying at or above that bend radius helps it keep its shape and flow without collapsing.
