Question by: Carl G on May 14, 2025, 11:56 AM
What's the deal with the temperature range on this hose? Need to make sure it can handle the Texas heat, but also some colder temps we see sometimes.
Answer by: Customer Support on May 15, 2025, 8:59 PM
This hose is rated to handle temperatures from -13°F to +158°F. So it should be able to handle a pretty wide range of conditions.
Question by: Shawn S on Feb 13, 2026, 12:32 PM
Running this on a fuel transfer setup at the farm, need to know if it'll hold up pulling from a tank that's sitting lower than the pump. What kind of vacuum rating does it have?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 15, 2026, 8:36 AM
Vacuum service goes up to 28 inches Hg, so pulling from a below-grade or low-mounted tank is well within its range. The steel helical wire in the reinforcement keeps the hose from collapsing under suction load, which is what you want when the fluid has to travel uphill to reach the pump.
