Product Questions & Answers (3)
Question by: Marvin B on Jun 20, 2025, 11:14 AM
does this sleeve hold up alright if theres oil or hydraulic fluid getting on it regular?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 22, 2025, 6:07 AM
Fluid contact is not a problem for this sleeve. The plastic material resists oil, hydraulic fluid, gasoline, water, and air without degrading. So if you've got hose lines running through a wet or oily environment, it'll hold its own without breaking down or getting soft over time.
Question by: Hank R on Jan 24, 2026, 8:53 AM
got a hose that measures about 1.38 on the inside. is that the right size sleeve for it?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 26, 2026, 7:44 AM
Fit comes down to the inside diameter of the coil sleeve, and this one is 1.38 inch ID. If your hose is 1.38 inch on the inside, that matches the stated ID for the sleeve.
Question by: Hank B on Jun 15, 2025, 3:11 PM
got a couple hydraulic lines rubbing on a frame rail. is this coil sleeve mainly for abrasion protection or is it more for bundling stuff together
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 17, 2025, 6:21 AM
Built for hose protection, the coil sleeve helps keep hoses from getting scuffed up from abrasion and it also works as a simple way to bundle multiple hose lines together so they stay organized.
