The Danfoss / Eaton 2030x series Hose and Tubing Protectors Tube Support offers durable and reliable support for plastic tubing. This product is designed for use with aluminum copper and plastic tubing ensuring compatibility across various types. The tube support features easy assembly with no need for flaring and it is available with both long and short nut options. Specifically designed to withstand working pressures up to 2000 psi this product comes with a 4:1 safety factor depending on tube size. When used with metal tubing it operates within a temperature range of -65F to +250F.

The product conforms to ASA ASME and SAE standards and is listed by Underwriters Laboratories for use with flammable liquids (available on special order). When extra vibration resistance is required a long nut can be utilized. For plastic tubing except Eaton PT230 the 2030 insert is necessary. Not recommended for steel tubing usage.

does this tube support work with regular plastic tubing or do you need some kind of special insert to make it fit right?

For most plastic tubing, you'll need to use the 2030 insert along with this support. The one exception is Eaton PT230 tubing, which doesn't require it. Without the insert on standard plastic tubing, you won't get a proper fit, so it's worth making sure you have that piece before assembly.

got some 5/8 plastic tubing im trying to hook up with a brass compression fitting. is this the right tube support for that

For 0.63 inch tube OD plastic tubing, this tube support is the matching size. It’s meant to support plastic tubing when you’re using a brass compression tube fitting, and it’s also compatible with aluminum and copper tubing.
