Description & Features

This tube support is designed to be used with aluminum copper and plastic tubing. It is not recommended for steel tubing. It provides low-cost easy assembly without the need for flaring making it suitable for a broad selection of styles and sizes.

Made from CA360 brass this fitting meets the standards of ASA ASME and SAE. It is also listed by Underwriters Laboratories for flammable liquids on special order.

The working pressure for this fitting can reach up to 2000 psi depending on the tube size with a 4:1 safety factor. The temperature range extends from -65F to +250F when used with metal tubing. Refer to the plastic tubing temperature range when using compatible plastic tubing.

For enhanced vibration resistance use the long nut variant. This tube support provides fair vibration resistance and is compliant with industry specifications.

got a quarter inch plastic line, do i need one of these tube supports in the brass compression fitting or is it optional

With plastic tubing, the support is used inside the tube at the compression fitting so the ferrule can bite and seal without collapsing the tube. This part is the tube support for 0.25 inch tube OD, and it’s meant to be used with aluminum, copper, and plastic tubing in these brass compression style fittings.

Is this the right support for 1/4" OD plastic tubing with a brass compression fitting? Just want to make sure before I order.
