The Danfoss / Eaton 2030x series Tube Support is specifically designed for use in instrumentation, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. This tube support, intended for plastic tubing, is paired with a brass compression tube fitting to ensure secure and efficient connections. This product boasts low cost and easy assembly without the need for flaring, offering a broad selection of styles and sizes.
Constructed from CA360 brass, it is compatible with aluminum, copper, and plastic tubing, though not recommended for steel tubing. With a working pressure of up to 2000 psi and a temperature range from -65deg;F to +250deg;F when using metal tubing, it adheres to ASA, ASME, and SAE standards, ensuring compliance with industry specifications.
For plastic tubing, ensure compatibility and follow the specific temperature ranges indicated. The product is listed by Underwriterrsquo;s Laboratories for flammable liquids, available on special order. Its fair vibration resistance can be enhanced using a long nut when greater resistance is needed.

got some 3/8 plastic tubing, is this the right insert/support for it or am i mixin parts up
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 24, 2025, 6:59 PM
For 3/8 inch tube OD plastic tubing, this tube support (2030X6) is the insert used with Weatherhead brass compression fittings. Plastic tubing, except for Eaton PT230, requires the 2030 insert.

got some 3/8 plastic tube and a brass compression fitting, is this the little insert that keeps the tube from squishing?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 7, 2026, 6:19 AM
Acts as a tube support for plastic tubing so the brass compression fitting can clamp down without collapsing the tube, which helps you get a secure connection in instrumentation, hydraulic, or pneumatic service.
Question by: Carl G on Dec 24, 2025, 9:06 PM
does this tube support work with plastic tubing or is it strictly for metal lines
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 26, 2025, 7:52 AM
Plastic tubing is exactly what this support is built around. It pairs with a brass compression fitting and is compatible with aluminum, copper, and plastic tubing. Steel tubing is not recommended. Just make sure to follow the temperature limits specific to whatever plastic tubing you are running, since those ratings can differ from the metal tubing range.
