CAN Industrial Inc.s polypropylene cam & groove adapter is designed for liquid applications. Comprising 70% polypropylene and 30% fiberglass it ensures durable performance. Stainless steel cam lever handles further bolster its robustness.

Interchangeability adheres to MIL-C-27487F and DIN282 standards though 1/2 and 8 sizes typically do not interchange with other manufacturers. The adapter accommodates pressure ratings up to 150 PSI for sizes 1/2" to 4".

Female couplers featuring safety pins have lugs that pass through slots in the cam lever arms preventing accidental uncoupling until pins are removed.

Under no circumstances should cam & groove couplings be used with compressed air or steam service.

Reckon this'll hook up okay to a standard 2-inch fitting?

These polypropylene cam and groove adapters are designed to interchange with any fitting made to MIL-C-27487F and DIN282 standards. Just keep in mind that the 1/2" and 8" sizes sometimes don't play well with other brands.

got a 2 inch hose, is this the right camlock piece to shove in the end of it?

For a 2 inch hose, this is the male cam and groove adapter with a 2 inch hose shank, so it is meant to insert into the hose end and clamp or crimp on the shank side.
