Description & Features

This coupler is crafted with a blend of 70% polypropylene and 30% fiber glass ensuring durability and reliability in demanding liquid transfer applications. Stainless steel cam lever handles offer robust performance and resistance to corrosion. The Buna-N seal material provides excellent chemical resistance suitable for various liquid environments.

Safety is enhanced by a built-in clip that prevents accidental disconnection. Designed for interchangeability with products produced to MIL-C-27487F and DIN282 standards this coupler fits seamlessly with a range of standard equipment. Note that 1/2" and 8" sizes generally do not interchange with other manufacturers.

Supporting pressure ratings up to 150 PSI for sizes from 1/2" to 4" this coupler ensures efficient liquid handling. For specific liquid recommendations please contact us. Under no circumstances should this coupler be used with compressed air or steam service.

does this coupler work with compressed air lines? got a few fittings we been swapping around the shop and want to make sure before we hook anything up

Cam and groove couplings like this one are strictly rated for liquid service. Compressed air is explicitly off-limits, and so is steam. If your application involves either of those, you'll need a different coupling type altogether. For liquid transfer though, this 2-inch polypropylene coupler handles up to 150 PSI and is built to hold up in demanding conditions.
