Constructed from a 70% polypropylene and 30% fiberglass reinforced body with stainless steel cam lever handles, this 1-inch female half cam and groove coupler is built for reliable liquid transfer in demanding industrial environments. The Kuriyama Polypropylene Cam & Groove Coupler, Female Half, 1 Inch Hose Shank carries a pressure rating of 150 PSI and is designed to interchange with all products manufactured to MIL-C-27487F and DIN 282 standards.
A Buna-N seal provides chemical compatibility across a range of common liquids, while the included safety clip adds a layer of security during use, the female coupler's lugs accept safety pins once engaged, preventing accidental uncoupling. This coupler is rated for liquid service only; it is not suitable for compressed air or steam applications.

Question by: Phil Y on Mar 8, 2026, 9:48 PM
these cam and groove couplings work with compressed air lines? got a setup where i need something that'll handle both liquid and air transfer.
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 10, 2026, 11:31 AM
Cam and groove couplings in this polypropylene series are rated for liquid service only. Using them on compressed air lines is not safe and not something this product is built for, regardless of pressure. If your application involves air transfer, you'd need to look at a different coupler type entirely. For liquids, though, this one handles up to 150 PSI and connects reliably with standard cam and groove fittings made to MIL-C-27487F and DIN 282 specs.

Reckon this would hold up to hauling water on my trailer?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 15, 2025, 6:15 AM
This coupler is rated to 150 PSI and is designed for liquid service. Just keep in mind it's not for use with compressed air or steam.
Question by: Tony A on Nov 27, 2025, 12:30 PM
i’ve got a 1 inch hose, does this coupler end actually fit a hose shank or is it threaded
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 28, 2025, 12:55 PM
Built as a female half cam and groove with a 1 inch hose shank end, it is meant to go on the hose side rather than a threaded pipe connection.
