Polyethylene Tubing, 0.38 OD, 0.06 Thick, 0.25 ID, Up To 190.00 PSI

Description & Features

The Polyethylene Tubing is designed for general low-pressure and low-temperature applications making it ideal for instrumentation and food processing. Manufactured by FreelinWade this natural-colored tubing features an outer diameter of 0.375 inches wall thickness of 0.062 inches and an inner diameter of 0.25 inches.

This tubing's linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) composition offers superior environmental stress crack resistance (ESCR) providing durability against chemical exposure aging and high-vibration connections.

It complies with FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.1520copy; for food contact applications. The tubing maintains a hardness of 50 Shore D with a maximum operating pressure of 190 PSI and a burst pressure of 760 PSI. Tolerance is maintained at +/- 0.004".

Temperature range capabilities extend from -40deg;F to 150deg;F and it is vacuum rated up to 28" Hg. The minimum bend radius is 2 inches ensuring flexibility in installation.

Question by: Lyle P on Feb 9, 2026, 12:44 PM
What kind of temperatures can this tubing handle?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 10, 2026, 8:28 PM
This tubing is rated to handle temperatures from -40°F up to 150°F.
Question by: Darryl L on Jun 30, 2025, 12:42 PM
tubing says it goes up to 190 PSI but whats the burst pressure on it? trying to figure out how much headroom we actually got before things go sideways
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 1, 2025, 1:05 PM
Burst pressure on this tubing is rated at 760 PSI, which works out to a 3:1 safety factor over the 190 PSI operating limit. So running it at or below that 190 PSI mark gives you a solid margin before you'd ever approach a failure point. For most low-pressure instrumentation or food-grade setups, that overhead is more than enough to keep things running clean and safe.
Question by: Darryl R on Oct 3, 2025, 6:52 AM
got a tight spot to snake this line through, how sharp can i bend it without kinking it
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 5, 2025, 6:57 AM
For routing and install, the minimum bend radius is 2 inches. Keeping bends at 2 inches radius or larger helps it stay open and avoids kinks.
