The Freelin Wade polyethylene tubing offers robust performance in general low pressure and low temperature applications. With an O.D. of 0.313 in and a wall thickness of 0.062 in this tubing is designed to withstand a maximum operating pressure of 230 PSI making it suitable for a variety of industrial applications including instrumentation and food processing.
Key advantages of this tubing include its superior environmental stress crack resistance (ESCR) compared to low density polyethylene providing enhanced durability against chemical exposure aging and high vibration connections. The natural color tubing complies with FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.1520(c) for food contact.
Designed with a burst pressure of 920 PSI and a minimum bend radius of 1.5 inches this polyethylene tubing maintains flexibility and strength. The temperature range for optimal performance extends from -40deg;F to 150deg;F. The tubing also complies with FDA and NSF51 requirements ensuring safety and reliability.

got a 5/16 line now, is this the same size or am i gonna be fighting it on the fittings
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 8, 2025, 6:48 AM
You are looking at 5/16 inch OD tubing. The outside diameter is 0.313 in and the inside diameter is 0.187 in with a 0.062 in wall, so it matches what most folks mean when they say 5/16 OD.
