Question by: Rick G on Mar 1, 2026, 5:26 PM
Been running post-tension work on slab-on-grade jobs for years and the dirt and heat just beat equipment to death. How does this jack hold up in those conditions?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 3, 2026, 10:22 AM
Built specifically for that kind of punishment. Power Team designed these monostrand stressing jacks with slab-on-grade environments in mind, where dirt, heat, and high-volume use are just part of the day. The components are long-lasting, and when something does wear out, replacement is straightforward. The hydraulic fluid controls are interior, which keeps them better protected during tensioning and retraction compared to exposed setups.
