The Danfoss / Eaton FT1380 Series Die Cage is designed to efficiently crimp Aeroquip MatchMate Plus braided and spiral hoses through -20 size. Engineered for durability it features dimensions of 12.75 inches in width 25.75 inches in depth and 28.50 inches in height. The machine requires a 115-Volt AC single phase (50/60)Hz circuit with a minimum of 15 amps.

This crimp machine is suitable for flat field crimping up to -16 size and flat single skive crimping for 1 & 2-wire braid hoses up to -20 size. It also accommodates 4-wire spiral hoses up to -16 size. However it is not compatible with internal skive fittings or hoses that require a positive stop such as the Aeroquip 2807 2808 FC186 FC465 FC469 and FC505 hoses. Ideal for industrial applications the ProCrimp 1380 Series Danfoss / Eaton Die Cage offers reliability and consistent performance. This equipment is not machine mountable and does not include blades.

i’ve got a ProCrimp 1380 setup, is this die cage the right one for it or am i mixing parts up

does this die cage work with the aeroquip matchmate plus spiral hose in -20 size or is that too big for it?

The -20 size is right at the upper limit for spiral hose, and yes, this cage handles it. For barrel field crimps you can run all the way through -20, and the MatchMate Plus braided and spiral hose lineup is fully covered through that size as well. Flat field crimps top out at -16, so keep that in mind depending on what type of crimp you're running.

That's correct. It is designed for use with all Aeroquip® MatchMate Plus™ braided and spiral hose through -20 size, as well as flat field crimp thru -16 and barrel field crimp thru -20.
