Proportional Flow Divider With Free Reverse Flow, Ports, 2-8 GPM Inlet Flow Range, 50:50 Outlet Flow Ratio

Description & Features

Designed for precise hydraulic applications this flow divider efficiently splits a single stream into two equal streams with a 50:50 outlet flow ratio. The BRAND Hydraulics Inc. flow divider offers an inlet flow range of 2-8 GPM and maintains pressure compensation for both outlets.

The unit features precision ground heat-treated spools for enhanced durability and long life. Constructed from a robust cast iron body with Buna-N O-Rings it ensures reliable performance under demanding conditions.

This flow divider allows free reverse flow through both outlets making it adaptable for various industrial applications. The maximum operating pressure is rated at 3000 PSI and it is recommended to use 30-micron filtration for optimal performance.

It is important to mount the valve with rigid spacers to prevent housing distortion as the spool may bind if the valve is mounted with bolts through the valve against a flat surface.

Question by: Ray R on Mar 10, 2026, 6:19 PM
trying to split one hydraulic line into two equal feeds. will this divider keep it 50/50 even if one side sees more load?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 12, 2026, 6:42 AM
Pressure compensation is built into both outlet ports, so it is made to hold a 50:50 split while outlet pressures differ. The two outlet flows add up to the inlet flow, as long as you stay within the 2 to 8 GPM inlet flow range and the 3000 PSI max operating pressure.

Reckon this'll work alright splitting flow on my log splitter? I'm lookin' for somethin' to keep the ram speed steady.
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 17, 2025, 6:16 AM
Designed for precise hydraulic applications, this flow divider should work well. It splits a single stream into two equal streams while maintaining pressure compensation to keep things steady.
