PRV1-10 Series Direct-Acting Pressure Reducing (Relieving) Cartridge Valve, PSI Screw and locknut Adjustment

The PRV1-10 Series Direct-Acting Pressure Reducing (Relieving) Cartridge Valve from Danfoss is a spool type valve designed for mobile and industrial applications such as harvesters and refuse haulers. This valve operates by allowing flow from port 2 to port 1 with port 3 acting as a vent to the reservoir. When the pressure setting at port 1 is reached the spool shifts to restrict the inlet flow at port 2 regulating the pressure. If the pressure at port 1 exceeds the valve's preset value excess pressure is relieved through port 3. Featuring a screw and locknut adjustment style the valve has a pressure rating of up to 2400 PSI for all ports and supports a flow rating of 4 GPM. With a leakage rate of 0.25 cc/min and a minimum working pressure of 30 PSI the valve is reliable and efficient. The PRV1-10 requires a machined cavity or housing for installation and adheres to a recommended filtration level of 18/16/13 microns. It operates within a temperature range of -40F to 248F and uses Buna-N seals for optimal performance.
