PS Series Pressure Switch, Single Switch, 300-2600 PSI Adjustment Range, Apprx. 300 PSI @ 1125 Setting Reset Pressure Differential

Description & Features

The PS Series Pressure Switch offers a secure and accurate solution for pressure monitoring and control within the range of 300-2600 PSI. Designed by Magnaloy this single switch features a fixed reset pressure differential of approximately 300 PSI at 1125 setting ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments.

This pressure switch includes three independently adjustable switching elements all served by a single 1/8 Female NPT pressure tap. An oil-tight NEMA 12 case with a standard 1/2 inch conduit connection provides robust protection and ease of installation.

Electrical ratings for this model are 4 Amps at 250VAC and 3 Amps at 12VDC. The viton seal with Teflon back-up ring enhances the durability of the device which withstands rated pressures up to 4000 PSI and burst pressures up to 12 000 PSI.

Identification of the switches is streamlined with clear color-coding aiding in efficient setup and maintenance. Switch 1 is identified by White (Common) Red (NO) and Black (NC); Switch 2 by White with one yellow stripe (Common) Red with one yellow stripe (NO) and Black with one yellow stripe (NC); and Switch 3 by White with two yellow stripes (Common) Red with two yellow stripes (NO) and Black with two yellow stripes (NC).

Temperature Range: -20F to 160F.

Question by: Shane K on Nov 29, 2025, 3:41 PM
What's the adjustment range on this pressure switch, and does it hold its setting without drifting much over time?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 1, 2025, 6:32 AM
Adjustment range runs from 300 to 2600 PSI, so there's a solid spread to work with across a wide variety of hydraulic systems. Repeatability is rated at 2% of set pressure, which is tight enough for most industrial applications where you need the switch to trip consistently at the same point. The reset pressure differential is fixed at approximately 300 PSI when set around the 1125 mark, so factor that deadband into your setup if you're working near that range.
Question by: Hank P on Feb 19, 2026, 7:56 AM
got a hydraulic setup that runs around 2000 psi. will this switch adjust up there and still be in its comfort zone?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 20, 2026, 5:57 PM
For adjustment, the setpoint range is 300 to 2600 PSI, so 2000 PSI is within the adjustable window. On the pressure side, it is rated for 4000 PSI working pressure with a 12,000 PSI burst rating.
