Brass Push>Connect Metric Tube Fitting, 8.00 mm Tube OD To 1/4-19 Male Universal BSPP/BSPT, 90 deg Elbow

Description & Features

The Danfoss / Eaton Push>Connect Swivel Elbow Adapter offers reliable and efficient connections for pneumatic instrumentation lubricant and cooling lines. Its ease of assembly with no tools required and reusability make it highly practical for various industrial applications.

Constructed from durable brass with a nickel-plated finish this fitting ensures long-lasting performance. The O-Ring of Buna-N construction with optional Viton available by special order provides a secure seal. It supports a pressure range up to 250 psi depending on tube size and fittings are rated at 29.5 inches of mercury vacuum.

The temperature range is from -40F to 200F though care must be taken to not exceed the compatible plastic tubing temperature limits. This fitting accommodates an 8.00 mm tube OD and connects to a 1/4-19 male universal BSPP/BSPT thread in a 90-degree elbow configuration.

Its features include significant time savings in assembly and disassembly further enhancing its utility in industrial settings. Simply push the tubing into the fitting for connection and depress the collet ring to disconnect efficiently.

Question by: Freddie C on Nov 13, 2025, 9:12 AM
got an 8mm plastic tube line, do i just shove it in there or do i need any tools to make it seal?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 14, 2025, 10:59 AM
For hookup, you simply push the tubing into the fitting for the connection. No tools are required, and it seals with a Buna-N O-ring. To disconnect, depress the collet ring and pull the tube back out, which also makes it reusable.

What kind of applications is this elbow fitting good for?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 23, 2026, 6:39 AM
It's a solid choice for pneumatic instrumentation, lubricant, and cooling lines.
Question by: Phil W on Feb 28, 2026, 12:13 PM
fitting says it works up to 250 psi but does that hold for the 8mm tube size or is that just a general rating
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 2, 2026, 6:13 AM
Pressure rating on these push-connect fittings does vary by tube size, so 250 psi is the upper ceiling across the product line rather than a guaranteed rating for every size. For the 8mm configuration specifically, stay within the published limits for that tube OD and you'll be in good shape. The vacuum rating holds steady at 29.5 inches of mercury regardless of tube size.
