This brass push-connect metric tube fitting is engineered for efficient and reliable connections in compressed pneumatic instrumentation circuit lubricant and cooling lines. Featuring an 8.00 mm tube OD and 3/8-19 male universal BSPP/BSPT thread its 90-degree elbow design ensures optimal spatial alignment within your assemblies.
The fitting is manufactured by Danfoss Power Solutions and offers effortless assembly and disassembly without needing tools thanks to its push-to-connect functionality. Constructed from nickel-plated brass it can withstand pressures up to 250 psi and is suitable for temperatures ranging from -40F to 200F with consideration to tubing temperature ranges.
Sealed with a Buna-N O-Ring the fitting guarantees reliable connections and is compatible with a variety of tubing types. For specialized applications Viton seals are available upon request. Rated at 29.5 inches of mercury vacuum this swivel elbow adapter meets stringent performance standards.
Assembly is straightforward: push the tubing into the fitting to connect and depress the collet ring to disconnect. This product aligns with UNSPSC 40183100 standards and falls under ECCN EAR99.

got an 8mm metric tube here, does this elbow just push on or do i need tools to make it seal up
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 25, 2025, 10:03 AM
Push the tubing straight into the fitting to connect, and it seals with a Buna-N O-ring. When you need to pull it back off, you just press the collet ring to release the tube, so no tools are needed for normal assembly or disassembly.
Question by: Roy H on Oct 26, 2025, 7:48 PM
Will this fitting hold up okay in a hydraulic system, or is it more for like, air lines?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 28, 2025, 6:05 PM
This fitting is designed for compressed pneumatic instrumentation, circuit lubricant, and cooling lines. It can handle pressures up to 250 psi, so it should work in some lower-pressure hydraulic applications, but confirm your system's pressure requirements.
Question by: Brent C on May 1, 2025, 11:52 AM
fitting says it works with BSPP and BSPT both, how does that even work, aren't those two different thread types?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 3, 2025, 6:22 AM
BSPP and BSPT share the same thread pitch and tooth profile, so the physical thread form is close enough that a single male fitting can engage with either port type. The difference between the two is that BSPT threads taper slightly for a mechanical seal, while BSPP threads are parallel and rely on a face seal or O-ring. On this fitting, the Buna-N O-ring handles the sealing duty, which is what makes it functional across both thread standards without needing separate versions for each.
