Brass Push>Connect Metric Tube Fitting 8.00 mm Tube OD To 1/4-19 Male Universal BSPP/BSPT Straight is designed for use in compressed pneumatic instrumentation circuit lubricant and cooling lines.

The fitting offers ease of assembly with no tools required and is reusable saving time during both assembly and disassembly processes.

Constructed from nickel-plated brass the fitting ensures durability and reliable performance. The temperature range is between -40F to 200F which should be considered in conjunction with the compatible plastic tubing's temperature range.

The pressure range reaches up to 250 psi depending on the size of the tube and the fittings are rated for 29.5 inches of mercury vacuum as well. An O-Ring made from Buna-N is included with Viton available upon special request.

Assembly is simple; connect by pushing the tubing into the fitting and disconnect by depressing the collet ring with two fingers and withdrawing.

Fitting works without tools right? Got a pneumatic line I need to tie into and really can't be tearing things apart for long.

Push the tubing straight into the fitting until it seats and you're done. No tools, no fittings to thread by hand, no clamps. When you need to pull it back apart, just press the collet ring in with two fingers and slide the tube out. The whole thing is reusable, so you're not throwing it away every time you disconnect it.

got 8mm plastic tube already, will this push-to-connect end fit it and what’s on the other side thread-wise?

Built for 8.00 mm tube OD on the push-to-connect side, and the male end is 1/4-19 with a universal BSPP/BSPT thread in a straight configuration.
