Product Questions & Answers (2)
Question by: Diane R on Jul 25, 2025, 2:09 PM
Got a job site where we're moving a lot of water fast, will a 6-inch layflat hold up to regular discharge work without the tube separating from the cover?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 27, 2025, 6:57 AM
Separation is actually something the construction of this hose specifically addresses. There's a balanced polyester yarn spiral wrap along with a longitudinal strength member, and both the tube and cover are homogeneous PVC, meaning they're formed as one continuous piece rather than bonded layers. That design holds up well under repeated pressurization and drainage cycles common on active discharge sites.

What kind of fittings work with this hose, and how do you attach 'em?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 24, 2025, 6:04 AM
You can use shank type fittings made of aluminum, steel, brass, or stainless steel. Cam & Groove fittings made of aluminum or polypropylene also work. Just make sure to attach them with preformed clamps for a good, secure connection.
