Rated to 10,000 psi (700 bar) and delivering 11.2 tons of pushing force across a 10.13 in (257 mm) stroke, the Enerpac RC-1010 11.2 ton Capacity, 10.13 in Stroke, General Purpose Hydraulic Cylinder is a single-acting unit built for sustained use in lifting, pushing, and pressing applications across industrial environments.
Part of the Enerpac RC Series, this cylinder features a composite wear band bearing system with a hardened stop ring for reliable sideload resistance. A pre-tensioned Trio Hybrid spring mechanism provides fast plunger retraction, while high-grade polyethylene seals and an integrated plunger wiper work together to limit contamination and reduce wear over time. Collar and plunger threads along with base mounting holes allow for straightforward fixturing, and the baked enamel finish adds corrosion resistance for use in demanding conditions. At 14 lbs (6.4 kg) with a 1.69 in (42.8 mm) bore diameter, the cylinder is sized for versatile positioning. It ships with a CR400 coupler, dust cap, and collar thread protector, and is dimensionally compatible with prior RC Series cylinders.

Got a job coming up where I need about 10 inches of travel on a push application. This RC1010 got enough stroke to handle that, or am I cutting it close?

Ten inches is right in the wheelhouse for this one. The RC1010 gives you 10.13 inches of stroke, so you've got a little room to work with rather than being right at the edge. Rated at 11.2 tons capacity and 10,000 psi max operating pressure, it's built for serious push work. Just make sure your pump setup can hit that pressure range and you'll be in good shape.

got an older Enerpac RC series cylinder. are the threads and outside size the same on this RC-1010 or did they change it up
Answer by: Customer Support on May 26, 2026, 6:34 AM
If you are replacing an earlier RC-Series cylinder, the RC-TRIO generation keeps the RC-Series model numbers, external dimensions, and threads unchanged, so it stays compatible with prior RC-Series cylinders.
