Enerpac | 11.2 ton Capacity, 8.00 in Stroke, General Purpose Hydraulic Cylinder | RC108

Description & Features

Designed for durability and versatility, the Enerpac RC-Series General Purpose Hydraulic Cylinder offers a substantial 11.2-ton lifting capacity and an 8-inch stroke, making it ideal for lifting, pushing, or pressing applications. This single-acting cylinder operates at a maximum pressure of 10,000 psi, ensuring robust performance across various industrial tasks. Constructed with a hardened stop ring and composite wear bands, it resists side loads and minimizes wear.

The cylinder features high-grade polyethylene seals and a plunger wiper to reduce contamination, extending its service life. A pre-tensioned spring enables faster plunger retraction, enhancing productivity. The baked enamel finish provides increased corrosion resistance, and compatibility with existing RC-Series dimensions and threads ensures seamless integration with prior models. This cylinder also includes a CR400 coupler, dust cap, and collar thread protector for added utility.

Question by: Hank K on Aug 1, 2025, 1:35 PM
Got an older RC-Series cylinder on the shelf already, will this RC108 swap in without having to redrill holes or change fittings?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 3, 2025, 11:07 AM
Full drop-in compatibility with prior RC-Series cylinders is one of the things Enerpac kept intact on this updated line. The external dimensions, threads, and model footprint are unchanged from the original RC-Series, so existing mounting holes, collar threads, and plunger connections carry right over. No rework needed on your setup.

got an older Enerpac RC cylinder, are the threads and outside dimensions the same on this RC-108 or did they change it up?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 30, 2026, 10:17 AM
Good news if you are swapping from a prior RC-Series cylinder. The RC-TRIO RC-108 keeps the same RC-Series model numbers, external dimensions, and threads, so it stays compatible with the older RC-Series sizing.
