With a 55.2-ton capacity and a 6.25-inch stroke, the Enerpac RC-Series General Purpose Hydraulic Cylinder is designed to meet demanding industrial applications. This single-acting hydraulic cylinder is engineered for durability, offering a robust bearing system with composite wear bands and a hardened stop ring to resist side-loading. The cylinder's high-grade polyethylene seals and plunger wiper work together to minimize wear and contamination, thus extending its service life.
Designed for versatility, this hydraulic cylinder is suitable for lifting, pushing, or pressing tasks and can be used in any position. It features a maximum operating pressure of 10,000 psi (700 bar) and a cylinder bore diameter of 3.75 inches. The baked enamel finish provides increased corrosion resistance, enhancing its durability in harsh environments. This model is compatible with prior RC-Series cylinders, ensuring easy integration into existing systems.

Got an older RC-Series cylinder on the shelf already. These new RC-506 units gonna line up with it thread-wise and dimension-wise, or am I looking at having to redo my whole setup?

Same external dimensions and threads as the prior RC-Series, so swapping in an RC-506 won't require any rework on your existing fixturing or connections. Enerpac kept those details unchanged on purpose so shops running older RC cylinders could upgrade without headaches. The collar and plunger threads are also there for fixturing if you need them, and the new unit ships with a CR400 coupler, dust cap, and collar thread protector right out of the box.

got a couple older RC-Series cylinders already. is this RC506 gonna match up with the same dimensions and threads?

Good news if you are swapping from an earlier RC-Series model. The RC-Series model numbers, external dimensions, and threads are unchanged from prior RC Series cylinders, so RC506 keeps the familiar fit.
