Description & Features

The Enerpac RC-Series hydraulic cylinder offers a robust solution for general-purpose applications with a 4.9-ton capacity and a 3.11-inch stroke. Crafted for versatility and reliability, this single-acting cylinder operates efficiently under a maximum pressure of 10,000 psi. Its durable construction includes a composite wear band and a hardened stop ring, enhancing its resistance to side loads and minimizing maintenance needs.

Question by: Wes H on Nov 19, 2025, 5:52 PM
got a 10-ton press I'm running off a hand pump rated to 10,000 psi, this little RC-53 gonna keep up with that pressure or is it gonna be the weak link in the setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 21, 2025, 9:31 AM
At 10,000 psi max operating pressure, the RC-53 matches right up with a standard hand pump running at that rating. The cylinder is built to handle that full pressure load, so it won't be your bottleneck. With a 4.9 ton capacity and a 3.11 inch stroke, it's well suited for pressing and pushing work in that kind of setup.

got an older RC-series Enerpac cylinder already. will this RC-53 swap in without me changing mounts or threads?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 11, 2025, 10:28 AM
Good news if you are replacing an older RC-Series unit, the RC-TRIO cylinders keep the same RC-Series model numbers, external dimensions, and threads as the prior RC Series cylinders, so the fit stays familiar.
