Rated to 10,000 psi (700 bar) and built around a hollow plunger design, the 23.6 ton Capacity, 2.00 in Stroke, Single-Acting, Hollow Plunger Hydraulic Cylinder from Enerpac's RCH Series is well suited for tensioning, maintenance, and load testing work where both push and pull forces are required. A threaded rod passed through the 2.88 in (73.1 mm) bore can be anchored to a load, allowing the cylinder to apply force in either direction from a single tool.

Single-acting with spring return, the cylinder delivers a 2 in (49 mm) stroke and weighs 17 lbs (7.7 kg). A nickel-plated floating center tube reduces side load damage on this model, extending service life under demanding conditions. Collar threads simplify fixturing, and a baked enamel finish provides corrosion resistance in field environments. The cylinder includes an Enerpac Cr400 coupler.

got a threaded rod i need to run through the middle for a pull job. is that what the hollow plunger is for?

With the hollow bore, you can run a threaded steel rod through the center and hook it to the load so the cylinder can apply either pull or push force, including tensioning work.

hollow bore on this one, can you actually run a threaded rod clean through it to pull something toward you, or is it only good for pushing?
