Designed for precise liquid monitoring, this sight glass ensures accuracy in various industrial settings. Engineered with a length of 5 inches, it provides clear visibility and efficient fluid level tracking.
The robust black epoxy-coated material guarantees durability and resistance to harsh environments. The Buna-N seal material enhances reliability by preventing leaks and maintaining integrity under pressure.
Featuring a front mount style, it can be installed from the outside of the reservoir, making it suitable for tanks without interior access, given the wall thickness permits tapping. Additionally, it allows a 1/16 inch alignment adjustment for ease of mounting.
The 1/2-13 thread specification simplifies the installation process, ensuring a secure fit. Ideal for applications requiring stringent monitoring, this sight glass is a crucial component for maintaining operational efficiency.

Question by: Ricky M on Apr 2, 2026, 12:39 PM
Got a tank with no cleanout plate or interior access -- can this thing still be mounted from outside without tearing into the reservoir?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 4, 2026, 11:36 AM
Front mount style A is built exactly for that situation. As long as the tank wall is thick enough to tap threads, you can install it from the outside without ever needing to get inside the reservoir. It also allows a 1/16 inch alignment adjustment, so if your holes don't line up perfectly you've got a little wiggle room to work with. If you do happen to have interior access, it can go in that way too using the furnished nuts.

got a tank i cant get inside of. can this sight glass be mounted from the outside?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 14, 2025, 6:32 AM
For reservoirs with no interior access, the front mount construction lets you install it from the outside as long as the tank wall thickness permits tapping. It also has about a 1/16 inch alignment adjustment to help you line it up during mounting.
