The Lube Device Liquid Level sight glass by LDI Industries is designed with a 5-inch length and 1/2-20 thread size fabricated from durable aluminum. This sight glass features a front mount style enabling installation from the outside of the reservoir ideal for situations where access to the reservoir's interior is restricted.
It includes a card-type thermometer with red fluid for clear and precise temperature readings. The Buna-N seal material ensures a reliable leak-proof connection enhancing the longevity and performance of the sight glass.
The innovative construction allows for a 1/16 inch alignment adjustment to facilitate precise mounting. This product can also be installed with furnished nuts if there is access to the inside of the reservoir. It's notably useful in various industrial applications where visual monitoring of liquid levels is critical.

got a tank where i can’t reach the inside worth a darn. will this sight glass mount from the outside?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 29, 2025, 4:02 PM
For reservoirs with no interior access, the front mount style lets you install it from the outside as long as the tank wall thickness permits tapping. If you do have inside access, it can also be installed using the furnished nuts.
Question by: Hubert T on Apr 2, 2026, 9:19 PM
Does this sight glass have to be installed from the inside of the tank, or can you put it in from the outside?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 4, 2026, 7:15 AM
Front mount style means you can install it from the outside of the reservoir without ever needing to reach inside. That comes in real handy when the interior isn't accessible. If you do happen to have inside access, it can also go in with the furnished nuts. Either way works. There's also a 1/16 inch adjustment built into the construction so you've got a little wiggle room to get it sitting straight on the wall.
