Designed for applications requiring a hollow-center configuration, the RH Series Center Hole Single-Acting Cylinder, 30 Ton, Inch Rod, Inch Stroke delivers 30 tons of capacity with a 6.34 sq in effective area and a 2-1/2 inch stroke. The center hole diameter measures 1.297 inches, making it well-suited for bolt tensioning and other through-hole force applications. Extended height is 8.75 inches.

The cylinder body features a corrosion-resistant standpipe with Power Tech treatment and a threaded collar, consistent with the 30-ton single-acting models in the Rh Series lineup. Interchangeable piston head inserts support versatility across multiple setups. This cylinder is furnished with a 9796 3/8" NPT female half coupler and is rated to withstand full dead-end loads. Manufactured under the Hydraulic Tech USA LLC (Spx) brand.

what exactly is the center hole for on this cylinder, and how big is it? got a bolt tensioning job coming up and tryin to figure out if this'll work

The hollow center runs 1.297 inches in diameter straight through the cylinder. That opening lets you slip a bolt, anchor rod, or cable through while the cylinder applies force around it, which is exactly the setup you need for bolt tensioning work. It also handles pulling on cables, forcing screws, and similar through-hole applications where the load path runs down the middle.

got a job pulling on anchor bolts. what size is the hole through the middle on this RH302?

For through-bolt and tensioning work, the center hole diameter on the RH302 is 1.297 inches, so your bolt, cable, or forcing screw needs to fit through that opening.
