Right Angle Pneumatic Flow Control Valve, 1/4 NPT Male x 1/4 Tubing Ports, 34 Flow Rating

Description & Features

Designed for controlled unidirectional airflow with free flow in the reverse direction, the Right Angle Pneumatic Flow Control Valve, 1/4 NPT Male x 1/4 Tubing Ports, 34 Flow Rating is a compact, field-ready component from Ingersoll Rand Aro. The right-angle configuration positions a 1/4 NPT male inlet against a 1/4 tubing port outlet, with a 360° swivel on the tube end to simplify alignment during installation.

The body is nickel-plated brass, paired with a black anodized aluminum swivel, stainless steel spring, and Buna-N seals, a material combination suited to a wide range of pneumatic service conditions. Pre-applied thread sealant on the NPT inlet eliminates the need for Teflon tape during assembly. Flow is adjustable via a slotted needle, and the valve is rated to 34 SCFM at a maximum operating pressure of 200 PSI, with a temperature range of 0°F to 200°F. Catalog number C1AJ33.

Question by: Connie P on Jan 20, 2026, 6:29 AM
Will this work with regular air compressor fittings, or do I need something special?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 21, 2026, 12:45 PM
It uses a 1/4 NPT male connection, so standard fittings should work fine. The other side is made for 1/4 inch tubing.
Question by: Cheryl M on Dec 22, 2025, 7:59 AM
so this thing only throttles air one way, right? i need it to flow back free the other way
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 24, 2025, 6:34 AM
Built for controlled flow in one direction and free flow in the opposite direction, it is a good fit when you want to slow an actuator or cylinder in one direction without restricting the return.
