got a tight spot to lift in, how short is this flat jack and how much travel do you actually get?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 29, 2025, 6:35 AM
For cramped clearance work, this low height Enerpac flat-jac is built around a 0.63 inch stroke, so you only get a little over half an inch of lift travel per cycle. Capacity is rated at 48.1 tons for high-force lifting and load-bearing where you cannot fit a taller cylinder.
Question by: Rusty F on Oct 21, 2025, 11:13 AM
Reckon this Enerpac cylinder would fit in a pretty tight spot? I'm dealing with some low clearance issues.
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 23, 2025, 6:15 AM
Designed for use in confined spaces, this cylinder's low height makes it suitable for such use.

got a tight spot under some heavy equipment where I need to get a lift started, does this thing sit low enough to actually get under there and do the job?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 12, 2025, 6:37 AM
At just .63 inches of stroke and built specifically as a low-height flat-jac design, that's exactly the kind of situation this cylinder was made for. The whole point of the flat-jac configuration is working in confined spaces where a standard cylinder won't fit. You're not going to get a lot of travel out of it, but for breaking a load free or taking up slack in a tight clearance situation, it fits the bill.
