This particular inline check valve is a half-inch (1/2) size.
Question by: Troy H on Feb 5, 2026, 12:56 PM
cracking pressure on this one is 7 PSI, that low enough for most standard hydraulic circuits or is that gonna cause any backflow issues at startup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 6, 2026, 1:14 PM
For most standard hydraulic circuits, 7 PSI cracking pressure is on the lower end, which means the valve opens with very little upstream pressure. That works well in systems where you need fast response or low back pressure to initiate flow. The metal-to-metal seat handles the sealing side of things, so once flow stops, backflow gets blocked regardless of how low that cracking threshold is. If your system runs at higher startup pressures and you need more resistance before the valve opens, there is also a 65 PSI cracking pressure option available in the same RV Series.
