runs continuous duty on a refuse hauler all day long, will this valve hold up to that kind of use without giving me grief?

Continuous duty is exactly what this cartridge is built around. The RV5-10 is a pilot-operated spool type, which means it handles sustained pressure loads more smoothly and with less heat buildup than a poppet-style relief. Rated to 5000 PSI and 30 GPM, it's well within the demands of a refuse hauler running full shifts. One thing worth noting: if you're running above 3000 PSI, you'll need a steel housing for the cavity. Aluminum won't cut it at those pressures.
